1. Who We Are
Gifternise is a product of Twentu Services Limited. We operate the Gifternise platform, which enables independent businesses ("Merchants") to create and manage coupon and gift voucher storefronts online.
2. The Platform
When you use a Gifternise-powered storefront, you are transacting with the Merchant who operates that storefront. Twentu Services Limited provides the underlying technology; all offers, products, and fulfilment are the responsibility of the individual Merchant.
3. Data We Collect
As Platform Operator, Gifternise collects:
- Business account data: When Merchants register, we collect the contact and business information necessary to provide the service.
- Technical data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance monitoring.
4. Customer Data
Gifternise does not use personal data submitted by end customers on Merchant storefronts (such as purchase details, gift recipient information, or payment data) for any purpose of its own. Such data is processed solely to facilitate the transaction you request.
Each Merchant is an independent data controller responsible for their customers' personal data and must maintain their own privacy notice in compliance with applicable law.
5. Cookies
Gifternise storefronts use a single, strictly necessary session cookie (PHPSESSID) for security purposes (CSRF protection only). No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are set.
6. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data.

7. Data Retention
Merchant account data is retained while an account is active and for 12 months following closure, unless a longer period is required by law.
